Finley | Newborn

Ohhhhh, it’s so hard not to just completely gush about this beautiful family! They are truly one of the most loving families I’ve had the joy to be around. Although they started off as clients (I photographed their wedding!) we became great friends! It’s been such a joy and a blessing to watch them continue their love by expanding their family. I always look forward to seeing them, whether it’s to share a meal or capture one of the family milestones! Welcome to the World, sweet Finley! You are destined to do great things!

Of course, I have to show off how ridiculously cute Big Sis, Bella, is! While I was photographing Finley, we had a barbie wedding in the living room, she became a mermaid in her bedroom, played guitar for us, and totally doted on her new brother.

I told Dad to “say Cheese” and Finley gladly obliged! When does that actually work!?

J Family Reunion

I get a lot of phone calls for family reunions and such throughout the year and reunions are always fun to photograph! When I got this call though, it was for a much more sobering reason. The family had gathered because their matriarch had passed away. The family was all coming together to celebrate her life and see each other all in the same place for the first time in many years! Although their reason for getting together was a sad one, I thought it was beautiful that they grasped how important they were to each other and to commemorate their time back together with a family portrait. Thank you for the honor of choosing me to photograph this time for your family!
