First of all, I absolutely adore this ENTIRE family! I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa & Brian’s Wedding and since then it’s been a pleasure to hang out with them and their daughter, Bella, and more recently their sweet boy, Finley! When Vanessa contacted me about wanting a session of her and their children as a Father’s Day Surprise for Brian I was all in. Long Beach has a ton of hidden gem areas that make for the perfect photo backdrop and they were lucky enough to live right on the Greenbelt which made this session extra sweet!
Shavonne & Nicole | Downtown Long Beach Engagement
When Nicole reached out to me for her and Shavonne’s Engagement session, I was thrilled when they wanted to do it in my favorite city - Long Beach! We did one of my favorite walks around Downtown and took advantage of all the Urban/Ocean goodness! A couple things made this session extra special. They decided to bring their son, Breon, and he was not only one of the sweetest boys ever, he was a total ham! I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with this kiddo, because he was just awesome. One of the other things that made this day especially fun was it landed on the day before Long Beach Pride Weekend, so we got to take advantage of some of the decorations put up around the city! There were so many “Congratulations” and happy cheers from nearly everyone that passed us on the street. This was truly a fun and gorgeous session, and definitely one of my faves!
Breon was the perfect amount of sweet and total ham!
